The E55bt are not APTx or LDAC capable wireless headphones, so keep that in mind. BT codecs greatly affect the maximum sound quality that can be achieved when music is transmitted, and the SBC supported by the E55bt is FM quality (whereas LDAC is CD quality). When connected by BT, you'll notice the highs are rolled off, the sound stage isn't as vibrant or clear. Not bad, and it is quite acceptable for outdoor use where the ambient outdoor noise will erase any advantage of even better codecs. These headphones do seal out some of the ambient noise passively, but are not active noise cancelling headphones unlike higher priced models. That said, I use the E55bt WIRED! It comes with a detachable 3.5mm cable, and when you do plug it in into a player that can drive them well, like my LG G7, which has a quad-dac audio output, OMG! Then these headphones really come Alive with solid, active bass, clear vocals, a clear soundstage and highs!! That's when everything from La La Land's soundtrack to Puth's Furious 7 end song play like they're meant to play, motivating your feet to tap to the beats and a smile to come to your face. Seriously good for the price range! They are not neutral like some competitors - these are designed to make music even more lively and fun than they ought to be, but without any artificialness. Music simply sounds better and your ears perk up and notice right away! Comfortable ear padding, easy to adjust controls, no issues turning it on bt, adjusting volume, adjusting the fit, etc. Ear cups turn 90 degrees to lay flat, so they don't take that much space in a bag. Padded cloth headband is nice, comfortable on the head. These are closed headphones, so you won't hear much of the world. You'll need to pull one cup off your ear to hear someone talk. Also, because of the weight and design, these are good for walking, office, gaming, etc, but they are not for running or sports. The E55bt are the sort of headphones that you put on, start playing a range of music from jazz to rock, and you can relax in a wonderful world of music while you read or do other activities.
