Geezus! I left this thing on overnight (no music playing, just powered on). Had used it almos 4 hours before that. Forgot to shut it off around 4pm, came back to use the computer it's hooked in my office around 9:30am the next day, still had power! Sill does! Typing this as I listen to it! I picked this little guy up (translucent blue one) for 3$ used & it's worth every penny! And man, THE SOUND FROM IT IS BETTER THEN MY MONITORS BUILT-IN SPEAKERS !!!! Sure, it's a headphone wired style but still ... amazing battery life & sound!

I'm happy with the speaker but apple should make the speaker Bluetooth, not everybody wants to carry a speaker cable everywhere.

I have had this model for over several years and refer them to everyone as well as gift them to people. I currently own 4 of them. 2 are tandem in my garage, 1 at my desk at home and 1 at my desk at work. I use them everywhere I can. At home, in the garage, at the office, when I travel and even in the classic car with no stereo. The small footprint, big sound and very long battery life is awesome. I have even learned that if you put this speaker on top of a cardboard box it amplifies the bass considerably like a bigger woofer. Definitely a neat trick to do with it to show it off to someone. Any type empty box will work or garage trash can with a lid. :)
