New oven blew up, service slow and unhelpful. Having to wait a month for someone to look a it

My wife and I are really pleased with this stove, it is easy to clean,looks classy, the front controls are where we as pensioners with no gandchildren want them. We understand why manufacturers put them out of reach of children, but in fact they are down right dangerous to reach over your cook pots to operate them.Further to that the front controls do not get covered in grease splashes. If I had to add a negative it would be the very poor rear connections for the power, obvously not designed by a "class A" electrician. Finally I must add that Appliances on Line were exemplary with the price and speed of delivery. They did make a mistake in telling me on the phone that we could pay with EFTPOS when in fact we could not. This review site would not accept my nickname that I always use (Chippy) VERY BAD

The hot plates have only two temperatures. On or off. So if I have it on a low number, the element comes on high for a short while then turns off. This means that even in low, my eggs and pancakes burn because of the short burst of very high heat. The oven is also rubbish. Even when using fan forced, the temperature throughout the oven is extremely uneven. I’ve had food on the middle shelf for an hour that has barely heated, but if I move it to the top shelf, it will burn in 10 mins. The point of the fan is to make the oven temperature consistent no matter where in the oven you put the food. Fan forced in this oven is actually worse than not using fan forced. Plus, the instruction manual suggests to turn off the oven 5 minutes before cooking to save money and continue cooking in residual heat. This does not work because as soon as the timer goes off (or the oven is turned off) a cooling fan starts so the residual heat is cleared from the oven. Wish I could get my money back on this useless appliance and on the cost of the installation.
