Washed and “seasoned” this according to the instructions and video but all the food stuck to it and baked on, now a nightmare to clean. Hot water certainly wasn’t going to cut it so I’m using detergent but it’s a hard slog. Definitely don’t cook eggs or banana on your maiden journey as I stupidly did. And don’t use your fingernail to scrape the stubborn food off either or you might end up with it driven under your nail like me (and yes, it’s super painful). I had forgotten about our prior foray into cast iron when we first got into camping. The “seasoning” never worked then and it certainly isn’t now. You can’t speed up the process if you have the small oven either as it doesn’t fit inside. It does seem solid but honestly, a non stick frypan is cheaper and clean up is a breeze. Would not recommend.
