Love this fridge, got a left hand one to fit in my kitchen, spacious with plenty of shelves and drawers in bith fridge and freezer

Having just renovated my kitchen, this refrigerator replaced my existing 18 year old Fisher & Paykel refrigerator, which was still in perfectly working order, but I decided to install all new appliances in my new kitchen. Several weeks on, I am very happy with this new refrigerator, with it having lots of storage space, and its performance thus far is flawless.

The last F&P refrigerator gave us 20 years (nearly to the day!) of trouble-free running . . . a big noisy at times, but always kept its cool. Then the error beeps started waking us in the night, middle of a movie, whenever. Turned out it was probably going to be cheaper to buy a replacement than risk getting the old one fixed. F&P was really the only choice as all the others were either too wide or too deep for our refrigerator recess. While the new one is very similar in every way to the old one, by "improving" it they may have actually made it a little more inconvenient. Door MUST be wide open to access the crisper roll out tray, whereas before there were 2 individual side-by-side buckets. Similar for the freezer, and we actually think the space in the old wire baskets was easier to utilise than the roll-out trays. Same external dimensions but looks bigger because all the surfaces are squared off. But we'll get used to it, and if it gives another 20 years of trouble-free operation we'll be happy.
