I wanted to have the fridge for a while before reviewing. The unit is quiet compared to my old one and other friends fridges. The temperature setting its 11 lights, the manual tells you an ideal temp. That's great but what temp are each of these lights. I've settled on 5 for each fridge and freezer whatever that is. The ice dispenser is my only gripe I feel in a way conned. It is so slow.. it makes 6 ice cubes every 3 hours. I am not joking. There is an ice boost function which seems to make 6 cubes every hour. Even setting the freezer to the coldest setting makes no difference. It mentions if you have a party push ice boost button. Forgets to mention doing that a week before the party. My previous 2010 Samsung would make in 4 hours what this fridge takes 3 days. I've ended up switching the bins around so it's always making ice and a big bucket just for that. Fisher and Paykel if you are listening make a bigger tray to flip if the tray made 16 cubes this slowness would be acceptable. Even one person can go though this many cubes an hour during a party.

We have had this fridge for about four weeks and are very happy with it. Our previous two door fridge had the freezer on one side and the fridge on the other. The fridge shelves were always too narrow to take large platters etc. The best things about this F&P fridge are the roomy, wide fridge space and deep freezer drawer. We haven't used the freezer much as yet but are happy with the design and ease of use so far. Appliances Online had the best price and taking away our old fridge free of charge was a bonus.

Had our fridge a couple of months now and i love it! Great size and no longer lose things as i can see everything. The freezer compartment is a great size too. I think the best part is the fruit and veg crispers. Everything is staying fresh for longer and I'm not wasting as much as i can see everything at a glance.
