Better Washing results in Fresher Laundry
Very Happy with F&P 8.5kg Top Loader Washing Machine since it uses ample water and the Towels/clothes don't dry hard and stiff when hang out on the clothes line. Prior to this we had 'Brand Name' Front Loader Washing Machine and while it was super' energy & water efficient the clothes & towels dried hard when hang out on the clothes line. We feel that the F&P Front Loader actually washes the clothes better and fresher at the end of the day

So Far so Good
The machine was delivered promptly and installed. The old machine was taken away. So far the machine is good, as expected. However it is early days yet, and we will have to wait to see how it goes over the next few years. When you pay this much for a washing machine you expect it to last a few years (the last one only lasted 5 years!).

White residue left on washing
I don't really like this washing machine. It leaves a white residue on some of the washing - they come out dirtier after washing than before! It also seems a bit harsh on the clothes.

Good Afternoon Thank you for this question, reason for the difference can only be that you are looking at a different model, Fisher Paykel have Condenser models and Heat pump condenser models available they almost have the same model number such as: Fisher & Paykel DC8060P1 8kg Condenser Dryer : 2 Star rating Fisher & Paykel DH8060P1 8kg Heat Pump Dryer : 6 Star rating as you can see above they are very close in their model numbers, but they are very different in their models and how they work.
