Well made, no sharp bits to cut you when cleaning. So far, has cleaned up well after use. I've used it when smoking meat - keeps the meat off the plate so both top and bottom get smoked. I use a small smoker box on the left with only the left burner on low, with the meat above the grill plate on the roasting rack on the right. Can leave out the smoker box if just want to roast. Great addition to the BBQ, which I've used to smoke or slow cook beef, pork and chicken so far. Looking forward to trying it with fish soon.
