    This washing machine needed to be replaced/refunded due to a problem with the lid. The error message kept coming up so the machine would not start. Prior to this problem the machine worked OK but the spin cycle was not adequate as clothes were still wet.

    Solid budget machine
    Being a budget machine, it's obvious but I'm just glad it's australian. It's a no nonsense machine and does exactly what you need. No bells and whistles but what more do you need from a washing machine but to clean your clothes? Have had it for a few weeks so far, would love for it to last for years but we'll see

    Hi Yani, there are mechanisms in place to ensure it doesn't slam shut. As the lid is glass, there's dampening hinges to prevent any damage if you drop the lid (similar mechanisms to what you'd find on soft-close kitchen cabinetry and a lot of flat pack drawers).
