[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vacuum cleaner as it states it is designed for the use in pet homes. I have used it twice now and couldn't be more disappointed. It can't cope with pet hair. After every few sweeps of the carpet it needs the turbo head unclogged. I spend more time cleaning the head than vacuuming the floor. For me, a complete waste of money.

I absolutely love this vacuum - when i purchased it I did not have any pets, but purchased it for the quality and performance (better for my allergies). Since buying it I now have a dog - who loses a LOT of hair. I have a stick vacuum, but it is weak compared to this and does not pick up even half of what this powerhouse can. The hair and dust in the bin is quite alarming. I use the stick for smaller cleans but get this out on weekends for the big clean. It also gets ALL the hair off my rugs and carpets (which the other can not do). While it is annoying to drag around and to have the cord plugged into the wall, it does offer a MUCH better clean and I feel very satisfied after using this. Plus the filters are very easy to clean. and maintenance is easy. I'm tempted to get the Electrolux Animal stick vacuum now too.
