    Completely broken down within four years
    Purchased in late 2021. Only used 1-2 times a week for a couple. Product has deteriorated similar to other reviews culminating in it producing smoke and being a dangerous situation. Based on similar reviews, this appears to be a manufacturing fault but the warranty is only 2 years.

    Poor quality
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our washing machine on 28.01.22. Two person household has now been using it for almost 3 years, undertaking approximately 5 washloads per week. The rubber rim has been perishing for months, and today it was smoking as the motor has burnt out. I do not recommend Electrolux products.

    Read before purchase
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite leaving door open and regular cleaning, rubber gets mouldy. Machine does not handle fabric softener. It builds up on rubber and deposits grime on clothing. Even after cleaning the machine.

    EWF7525DQWA Electrolux washing machine 1. The bottom of the rubber seal is black and slimy. How do I clean it? 2. Is there a lint filter? If so, how do I clean it? No mention of lint filter in the manual. Georgie · 2023-07-19
    Good Morning, Thank you for your product inquiry. Front load washers are designed without a lint filter because their tumble action prevents the creation of lint. However, it is important to check the small drain holes in the rubber seal at the front to ensure they are not blocked. If any blockage is found, please remove the debris to maintain proper water flow. If you notice that the rubber seal has turned black and become slimy, it is best to clean the area. You can use a mildew cleaner or a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar to clean the seal. Gently scrub the seal to remove any visible mold or mildew. The blackening and sliminess of the seal may occur when the washer door is consistently left closed, preventing fresh air from circulating and leading to mold buildup. To prevent this, it is recommended to leave the door open after each use. Additionally, it is important to clean the detergent dispenser. Remove the detergent dispenser tray and thoroughly clean it using warm soapy water to eliminate any residue. Rinse it well and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting it into the washer. To perform a drum clean cycle, as your machine does not have a dedicated drum clean function, select a cotton cycle with a small amount of detergent in the dispenser. Choose a temperature of 90 degrees and allow the cycle to run until complete. Once finished, open the door slightly to allow fresh air inside. It is recommended to perform this drum clean cycle every few months. We hope this information is helpful to you.     Good Evening, Thank you for this product question, sounds like you are referring to a bowl or tub clean, even if your machine does not have this cycle you are able to perform this with any top or front load washer by simply doing a cycle with nothing inside selecting the hottest temperature, add a small amount of detergent with nothing inside and clean your machine this way, probably every 3 to 4 months is enough.     Hi Sherrill, When using eco mode this will extend the wash time as it uses less power at a longer period. If you want a shorter load try just using the washer on auto mode. And yes there is a spin cycle. I hope this has answered your question. Michael, Appliances Online
