I purchased the Dyson outsize+ for work but had to try it out at home first. I am not a once over vacuumer. I go over till my dirt sensor turns green and I thought my vacuum was doing a great job! I honestly can not believe how much this Dyson vacuum has pulled out of my living room carpet. It is amazing and kind of disgusting! I have gone over my carpet 4 times in 3 days and it is still pulling up grossness. So I had to go buy another one for my home! Every household should invest and have this vacuum. I only wish I had this vacuum 6yrs ago when my carpets were new.

The V11 Oversize does do a good job of cleaning, but it is not as maneuverable as I was hoping. The fact that it cannot stand upright on its own combined with the length of the pickup tube and the weight of vacuum head make it very awkward to use from room to room. I am disabled, requiring a walker to get around, which made a corded vacuum very difficult and somewhat dangerous when doing a whole house cleaning. The V11 Outsize is a little less difficult to use, but the overall weight, total length of vacuum, and inability to stand alone do not make it a "joy" to use. Perhaps I should have gotten the V11 Torque which I believe is at least a bit less heavy and bulky than the Outsize. I wish I could return just the Outsize vacuum for the V11 Torque without having to return all the accessories which I think are great, especially the extra battery and charger. Finally, and probably the least convenient feature of all the V11 models, is emptying the dust canister. Ridiculous that you have to disassemble the vacuum before you can empty the canister. It takes both hands to remove the vacuum head; than you have to have somewhere to lean that assembly so it doesn't fall flat on the ground, than both hands are needed to empty the canister, after which you must reassemble the canister and vacuum head. Actually quite disappointed with what I hoped would make cleaning much less of a hassle.

This is an expensive vacuum and it took me a bit to decide to purchase but I am so happy with it! I have two dogs and a large three storey home. I was able to do the entire house on one charge. The laser reveals everything. My house and floors feel so clean! I previously had a canister dyson but it was heavy and annoying to lug up and down the stairs. This has even more power (my canister was from 2015) and gets everything! It’s obviously heavier than the smaller stick vacuums but worth it for the power.
