It fluffs up the carpet and it looks much newer than before. Easy to use and manouvre. Much quieter than my previous vacuum. Very easy to empty. Thoroughly recommend DYSON to all my friends, some of which have now upgraded to this machine.love my new uprighti have owned my new upright since nov 2011 and for my age group in my middle 50's i would highly recommend it as it gets right up to the edges and is just so easy to manouvre . the only downfall i have had is when i am using it as a wand it is still very tight and i keep tipping it over but i am learning to take things slower..lol. buy one or try a friends you wont be disappointed.6 months useHave had our Dyson for about 6 months and it is the best purchase we have made. Having a dog you can see the results of cleaning both in the machine and on the floors.Legendary service
