This fan/purifier is the first time I have been truly disappointed in a Dyson product. It is an OK fan if you are sitting within a few feet of it, but the lack of truly adjustable airflow makes it a challenge. The advertising makes it look like you can adjust the airflow through 360 degrees, but in reality there are two options - airflow upwards or airflow downwards. I use air purifiers a lot because I have asthma, and this one is pretty useless as an air purifier, even in a very small study. The positioning of the remote control unit on the front is a recipe for losing them because it is very easy to knock off, and I have already replaced it once since I purchased the fan mid-2020. As far as I can tell, it was knocked and must have fallen into a rubbish bin. The other Dyson fan/purifier models are better than this one and I couldn't really recommend it unless there is no other option.

Great for the teen’s bedroom. Size is perfect for the average second bedroom in an apartment. And quiet operation. Good buy.
