Such an expensive vacuum and such a disappointment. Shocks my hand when I try to use it and now only runs for 5 seconds before turning off! Happened just after warranty expired!

I just used my DC35 for the first time this morning not impressed, I thought for sure it would be as good as my upright not so. I couldn't even get my 3 rooms done and the battery died also I did not like that you had to hold the on switch and it was top heavy it caused my hand to hurt . Its not very convienient for someone tat has the beginnings of arthritis, I guess its back to the stor for this one. Dyson when you come up with a new design let me know I will be watching and waiting.

I have the DC35 for two years. I love it and it really did an excellent job for the first years (on both hardwood floor and carpet). Starting from the second year, it turned into a floor scratcher and scratched my hardwood floor to the point that I really want to trash it! I kind feel like it's a design problem when I see the V6 absolute hardwood floor clean head. Now I will only use it on my upstair carpet floor as it has done enough damage to my hardwood floor!!!
