A very easy and lightweight machine to use. Find that connecting the barrel back after cleaning the cylinder can be a little awkward, and if you're not careful, emptying the barrel with the click action can be a problem if you have a normal household bin in your kitchen as it can go everywhere if you don't line it up properly.

I purchased the DC39 to replace an excellent but very heavy to use machine. The DC39 is very easy to handle and I find it just as efficient as my previous vacuum cleaner. I was surprised by the length of the cord and the only complaint is that it is a bit noisy on tiled floors - my 88 year old fingers cannot hold the release key for too long. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is my first Dyson machine I have ever had and it is amazing so good that every time I vacuum we all are amazed with how much dust etc is in the barrell, The whole family had a look for the first few times LOL, I highly reccommend it , awesome !!!
