My DC23 Animal was purchased in 2009, now 7 years on it's still going strong and knocks spots off many, more modern, competitors. Parts are easy to obtain if necessary. After those 7 years the brushes on my turbohead needed replacing...to the website...part available...no problem! Not many you can say that about in this disposable era.

Vacuums all surfaces well. Telescopic wand replaced after stopped using it after couple of months , as initially it kept collapsing. The replacement uses the same technology and I can tell that in a couple of months the same thing will happen it will keep collapsing as soon as you put pressure on the handset

With two golden retrievers, a cat, husband and three children, I was getting frustrated with my old vacuum cleaner and thought I'd try the dyson animal. Well all I can say is that it has transformed my carpet. Having vacuumed the previous day, I couldn't believe how much hair and dust came out. It also takes half the time to vacuum the house. Well worth the money!!
