We bought this Light ball cleaner in august 2022. We had a great run with the previous model. 10years. Unfortunately, it broke down and would have to be returned to Dyson for repair. After discussion with the Dyson team, We were told the new light ball was equivalent. We have been using this now for 8 months. It does not run and turn the head easily and you have to twist the handle to do so. There is also a slight electrical burning smell as it is running. Would not recommend buying this unit. We are thinking of having the old one repaired.

I was so looking forward to buying one of these but after reading all of these reviews that won't happening. I have always bought cheaper vacuums that don't last to long and my son told me that would buy me a more expensive one that would last years. Thank you to all for the reviews. I will have to keep looking around for something different.
