Simple to use. Looks great setup on the bench. Makes a great coffee. Does waste a bit of water however. The drip tray seems to fill from some sort of leak or overflow process and needs to be emptied regularly.

I obtained this machine two months ago and found it is a great domestic automatic coffee maker for basic long black, or expresso coffees. The facility to use and grind the beans or add different ground coffee anytime allows switching to decaf for us. Speed of operation from switch-on to getting the cup is great. Controls adjusting coffee grind size and quantity with size of dispensed coffee is simple and easy easy. The downsides are that it is a noisy machine, there is little noise cancelling on the grinder and water pump partly expected at this price. The water tank is very small and only allows two to three mugs of coffee before needing refill. It does us for half a day providing long blacks, if you have expressos would last longer. It would not be suitable for a family of more than two if you have large coffees like us. It is less convenient for lattes or mochas but allows manual steam frothing if you want it. The controls for adjusting settings are not straight forward and the error mesages require interpretation of flashing/solid lights indicators etc and could have been made clearer with labelling and would avoid continuous reference to the manual. The upgraded machines solve this with touch screen indication. For price point it is the best choice for basic coffees for single person or couple, if you have family or variety of coffee choices you would be better with an upgraded version.
