Very easy to use although a little noisy (we put it in the laundry and shut the door). You only need to mix for 20 minutes so not much of a hassle. Makes great vanilla ice cream base to which you can add anything to for great flavours. The custard base (egg) is very rich and creamy. Love it.A great family gift!We purchased this ice cream machine to get our boys into making fresh ice creams and sorbets. It's been a hit! A great way to use surplus fruit and show off at dinner parties. A bit of advice: we used the recipe book that comes with the ice cream machine, however, after making a few batches we worked out you can easily reduce the sugar syrup amounts for the sorbet recipes by up to 1/3 without compromising the recipe. Less sweet but more flavour.Legendary service
