I just want to say how impressed I was with your service and delivery. I really appreciated being able to choose the delivery date and the two guys who delivered were fantastic including coming back the next day enroute from another job to pick up the old freezer which was still full of food when they delivered the new one. This is customer service about the relationship
I call Appliances Online Australia, from where I bought the ill-fated Myrtle (name for Microwave). It't not their problem, but they see the chance to convert a customer into a fan. Or maybe they're skilled enough to recognize the signs of impending caffeine-delay hysteria. Either way, they're wise enough to tell me they'll find a solution. Robert calls back promptly to say it's not their policy, but they'll replace Myrtle tomorrow. I nearly ask him to run away with me. This is customer service about the relationship rather than the policy. It's the attitude I have in my own business and I'm surprised companies can survive today without it. The cost of sending me a replacement will be tiny compared to the value of my future purchases and the marketing value of my telling friends on Facebook. Michelle, NSW, Australia
