This radio is difficult to program. The volume at the highest level is still quite low and the screen is bright even when turned down and the grid can be seen. When I go away for extended periods, I find the easiest way to cancel the alarm is to unplug it. On the plus side, it resets automatically when its plugged in again. When I have a spare afternoon I will explore the finer points of programming.

I really like this little alarm clock and it is the third time I've bought one, however ... it is the third time I've bought one as the first one stopped functioning after about a year and a half (I won't count that one as it was a 'refurbished' one) and the second one no longer functions as an alarm clock. It became virtually impossible to program about a year and a half after buying it too, though the radio stations can still be changed, if not entirely easily. It IS supremely useful, which is why I keep on buying it, but the lifespan could be considerably better.

Bought this clock and its great! Excellent sound quality, easy to set up and use. Instructions easy to follow as long as you know how to read properly. Would definitely recommend!!
