Please note that the ignition operates using a battery and does not have a fan. Additionally, this model is designed to run on LP gas and can be connected to a wall socket via a bayonet connection.     Good Morning, Thank you for this product question, Sorry you are NOT able to connect any gas heater regardless of its size to a gas bottle, Your gas Bottle MUST be a large gas bottle placed outside and plumbed inside with a proper wall gas bayonet to suit the gas room heater, plumbing must be provided only by a qualified gas plumber, please contact your local gas plumber. There have been several recorded accidents such as property damage and loss of life due to customers modifying gas hose connections to use a gas bottle inside the home which is totally illegal. If you are renting and there is no gas fitting available then it is best to reselect to an electric panel heater.
