I researched to find what would be the top toaster and the Smart toast has fulfilled all my expectations. It has excelled itself. It is simple to use and toasts all that is put into it superbly. Top toaster

Had to come back to this toaster after a long spell in the wilderness with less than perfect products. Our first Breville smart toaster lasted a long time and we loved it so of course we had to go with the same one again. Just Perfect.

It is indeed 'Smart'!! It can do a few things a regular toaster can't do...'Lift and look' feature allows you to check on the doneness...'Crumpet & fruitbread' button allows toasting in the middle only so your crumpet bottoms are still nice and soft! I expect fruitbread' doesn't burn on this function either but I havent tried that as yet. Another feature that I appreciate is that when it's finished toasting it raises the toast high enough for you to pick it up easily, unlike our previous toaster. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!
