    Overview

Experience culinary convenience with the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer, a versatile appliance featuring 10 distinct cooking functions. Engineered with advanced technology, this oven elevates your cooking with precision and speed.

The dedicated air fry setting delivers crispy, golden results with minimal to no oil, perfect for guilt-free chips and perfectly cooked chicken wings. Harnessing higher temperatures and super convection, it maximizes air flow for that ideal crunch.

At the heart of this oven is the Element iQ System, directing power precisely for a variety of techniques. With digital PID temperature control and independent heating elements, it ensures even, precise cooking.

Offering 10 cooking functions, including Toast, Grill, Bake, Roast, Pizza, and Airfry, this appliance guides you to culinary perfection. Dual speed convection reduces cooking times by up to 30%, while Super Convection provides extreme air flow for faster, more even cooking.

The user-friendly LCD display allows easy navigation of the built-in smart functionality, indicating pre-heat completion and starting the countdown for cooking time. An integrated interior oven light provides clear visibility of your food’s progress, automatically illuminating at the end of the cooking cycle.

Elevate your kitchen with the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer, where innovation meets versatility for an exceptional cooking experience.
    Air Fry setting

Air-frying is a quick and simple way to enjoy your favourite treats without the guilt. Requiring little to no oil, this cooking function uses high temperatures and optimised airflow to deliver crispy, golden-brown favourites like fries, chicken wings, and potato gems.

    Element iQ system

The cooker’s smart algorithms direct heat to where it’s needed the most, no matter what function you select. With sensing technology and digital PID temperature control, you can say goodbye to cold spots.

    Versatile cooking functions

Air Fry is just one of 10 cooking functions built into this unit. Use Slow Cook for low ‘n’ slow cooking of hearty stews. Switch to Bake to prepare a batch of cookies. Craving a stringy cheese toastie? Harness the Smart Oven’s Grill mode.

    Dual Speed Convection

Convection can reduce cooking time by up to 30%. It speeds the cooking process by raising hotter air and sinking colder, more dense air for quicker heating. Super Convection delivers extreme airflow, ideal for Air Fry.

    Damaged
The item was a Christmas gift for my son. The box and packaging was in pristine condition but as he opened and unpacked it we saw a significant dent in the metal of the oven.

    Questions & answers

How easy is it to keep clean especial when using air fryer or roasting chicken cleaning · 2026-10-23
Hello Thank you for this product question. The Breville The Smart Oven with Air Fryer (BOV860BTR) is generally considered very easy to maintain due to its built-in non-stick interior walls and removable components. However, high-splatter tasks like air frying or roasting a whole chicken do require a proactive routine to prevent stubborn, baked-on grease buildup. The Golden Rule: Let the oven cool completely, then wipe down the walls with a soft, damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge immediately after cooking fatty foods.
