    Poor quality
    I’ve just purchased this kettle, and after the very first use, rust appeared on the heating plate (see attached photos). This is unacceptable for a brand-new product. I’ve requested a full refund.

    LOVE this thing!
    I bought this Tea Maker 15 years ago and never looked back. At first, I had issues spending this kind of money on myself or my morning cup of tea, BUT this machine has been revolutionary for me - a perfect cup of tea brewed to my specifications every time! My only complaint? Breville only makes these in stainless steel, not the beautiful colours they use of the kettles. Mine is probably due for an upgrade - after 15 years it is showing signs of wear despite taking care of it - and I am thinking about replacing it. Would love for it to match my other Breville appliances and my wife's stunning espresso maker, but alas, no love for tea drinkers - we are stuck with stainless steel.
