I bought the Milk Shake Creation alongside my SmartScoop ice cream maker and it has been a great addition. From milk shakes to thick shakes, the Milk Shake Creation does it all. The kids love that we can churn an ice cream and turn into a shake. I love this product.

I had a Breville milk shaker that made great milkshakes for over 20 years, that I bought some time in the late 90's. I bought the new one recently when my old one broke and I'm happy to see some improvements. The new dishwasher safe stainless steel cups are a welcome improvement over the old non-dishwasher safe aluminium cups they used to have. One of my old aluminium cups was mistakenly put in the dishwasher once and it ruined it, so I'm glad I won't have that problem again. The new cups are also bigger with the max fill line at 300mL, compared with the old cups that had the line at 250mL. But with this new new taller cup, the mixing blades are now positioned lower than they were on the old machine, so the cup doesn't fit under them without tilting. The old cups were the perfect height to fit neatly under the mixing blades on the old machine, so there was no spillage when the cup was removed. My old aluminium cups are also too short to fit in the new machine, so I will have to order more new cups. The black plastic parts on the machine are also a nice improvement over the old white parts, which had yellowed with age, so I expect this new machine to look good for the next 20 years.
