I sent the product back as unfortunately in the pictures it doesn't show you that there is a large piece of plastic along the inside of the kettle. Research shows this could cause micro plastics or chemical leeching into the water. If you don't mind that, the it did look like a nice kettle otherwise.

Really disappointed with this kettle . It’s the second one I have had ( replaced 3 years ago!) and I already have problems with leaking underside and the ‘’on’ switch being temperamental! ( it switches off without heating!) Last one had the leaky bottom and the lid refusing to stay shut! I would expect it to last much longer considering the price! I given it 3 stars as it worked well until leaky bottom and the switch button My last kettle (before the Sage product and another well known brand) lasted over 11years and was considerably less than this

This is my second smart kettle because I’m pleased with the different temperatures it has temperature settings for green herbal , coffee and tea . My last smart kettle lasted a few years. I would recommend it for its smart looks and smart temperature settings. Reliable , Light weight , fast boil. 👍
