Buy a hard top next time.Great gift for tea loversThis is a gorgeous made in America electric kettle that can hold 7 Cups = 1700 mls shuts off automatically when it boils and has a chime to let you know it’s boiling. Bought it for a friend who absolutely loves it.Great kettle, but plastic cracks and can't be replacedI've had this kettle for several years. We're very happy with the capacity, the quick boil, the (mostly) metal interior, and the soft-open lid. Unfortunately, at this point the lid, the switch surround, and the plastic around the level window have all cracked and are actually shedding pieces. I wish there was a way to get repair parts!Legendary service
