Very well designed for grilling steak. The new model is larger than my old one which I had for about 20 years. The fat tray is also larger. Overall a well designed product.

The best sandwich press I have ever owned.

I've had two of these in a row now. The surface eventually died on my original one (I'm a very heavy user) after 3 years. Have had my current one for two and is holding up well. Glad to see the design change in the top plate so there's now no drips behind the unit and the catch tray works perfectly. I'd say I use this daily with everything from sandwiches, grilling meat, awesome crispy bacon and even pancakes are surprisingly good. When my current ones surface gives up, I'll definitely be replacing it with the same unit.
