Bought this as was at the end of winter, limited supply of any sort of electric blanket, so when I saw a QB size in an alternative brand I grabbed it without any market research. I was desperate to avoid any blanket by Sunbeam which is now a black word in this house - my third, yes third electric blanket in 2 years by that brand had failed me - and there was plenty of winter left. This is a simple straightforward blanket without too much carry on, fancy functions heating zones or such. I didn't need anything over the top and it works at that level. Main moans were that the wiring is pretty evident as little padding but perhaps more importantly the blanket never really gets warm - you find yourself climbing into a tepid bed vs a toasty one. I presume is a safety feature but I never sleep with the blanket on, just pre heat the bed so is disapointing from that level but it is very reasonable priced, it works well enough and am grateful that I had it at all! Is December in WA now so all is forgotten of the cold but thanks Breville

I find that the cable system is too long and stiff. For an elderly person difficult to handle

I bought this about a month ago Its an ok electric blanket works well all good however if u r looking for an electric blanket that can really heat up the bed then this is not for u On it’s highest setting it only takes the chill off the bed by no means is it as warm as other blankets I’ve had Would I buy again - no would I recommend - no
