Brought this over a year ago, during the height of the Melbourne COVID lockdown. This baby has been given a total workout, used virtually every day. I brought it for nostalgia sake as I grew up with these and now my kids are hooked. After a year of constant use, only now is some of the non-stick coming off. Make sure to use a rubber spatula or the like of you will scratch off the non-stick coating.

I’ve had this for a year now, and it still makes brilliant toasties no matter the filling. It is also so easy to clean…as soon as the sandwich is out I wipe it down with a clean wet chux. Best way to ensure non-stick is to butter /margarine the outside of the bread.

I grew up with these and from memory they were the best. So I bought it when I had kids and the first one seemed ok, but started sticking. I replace it with a new one 18 months ago and this one started sticking within 3 goes. I'm disappointed especially given the non stick coating does not work especially on the cutting edges. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the product anymore
