The non-stick coating lasted approximately three uses! The bread bonds so securely to the diagonal cutter that the sandwich is pulled apart when you open the wretched device. We've tried butter, olive oil (but not spray!), margarine etc. before use to mitigate the adhesiveness of the food materials to the surface but to no avail. Making a toastie now involves an unjustifiable investment of time due to the industrial cleaning process needed after each use. Non-stick???....Extra-stick I say. Sadly we can only recommend this product to people we don't like.

From the first jaffle I have hated this. Impossible to find bread the right size. The middle cut thing has always stuck and when you open it when it says ready, it all falls out from inside. then I have to use a fork to get them out. Which makes the coating worst. The reviews that say easy to clean must be fake because it's not easy to clean.

The first one was used only a few times and the coating came off persevered but it got unusable and made a claim. The second one has started to loose its coating after some 6 to10 uses I fairness it was a manufacturing fault, to start with it performed well.
