Easy to operate, easy to clean perfect tea. Every time I also use it as a hot pot for coffee. Love the programmable options.It's just great!

I had mine for maybe 10-13 years. I had to replace the base once due to a power outage. This time though the water spilled over (it was below the tea line) and hit the power strip and now it’s dead. I’ll have to save up for a new one. I LOVED this thing. It’s so nice to make a giant pot of tea without checking the temperature and time. If you purchase this and take carenof it you’ll get a good use out of it.

I guess we bought a faulty unit, a hit and miss! Starts (maybe) then it pauses, then starts or it doesn't, who knows?! We have had it put away ever since we bought it, as we were both too busy to call Breville and get help. We probably have 10 of their small appliances, and this is the only one that turned out to be an expensive countertop decoration.
