Excellent design, and functions. Good crumpet mode, easy to use, and well built. Even toasting on all sides, very easy to clean. A bit too expensive but a quality item.

This has been our third toaster in 3 years. We assumed that a toaster in this price range might last at least the period of the warranty, but no. Perhaps manufacturers should consider making not-so-smart toasters. Of all the appliances in modern homes, you'd think the toaster would be the least troublesome, it only has one function, but in each of our last three toasters the same problem occurs - failure to toast evenly, and sometimes failure to toast at all. Just stop with the bells and whistles and snazzy settings, and have a simple mechanically operated unit rather than one which is controlled by a flimsy chip.
