Purchased a red 2 slice toaster and kettle combo roughly 10 years ago. Kettle still working and toaster just died recently. Best product I have ever had so now looking for a 2 slice replacement

as long as we put them in sideways. It sat unused for sometime before we wanted toast so we haven't been using it for very long. However, everything works exactly as it should, though it took a while for us to work out which number to set it on. It toasts evenly all over (which is a must as far as I am concerned) and we love the fact that we can lift the lever to check how the toast is coming along. The "little bit more" button and the one for frozen bread are also much appreciated; we have used both. We have it set on 5 so it should work well for people who like their toast very light and even for those who like bread more "aritificlaly staled" than actually toasted. Whether the toaster deserves its 5-star rating from me depends on how long it lasts. Will it be working in 5 years, for instance? As far as I'm concerned it should still be working in ten years.

Looks great but doesn't toast both sides evenly and you have to do it twice it also takes a long time even to do it once
