Great sandwich press
After our well used sandwich press died, we decided to replace it. So after some online research, we decided on the Breville duo Sandwich press. It’s great in all respects, fast, easy to clean & adapts to cooking Cooking a range of foods not only sandwiches. Very happy with this product & would recommend it.

the Panini Duo:tm: needs engineering improvements
Greetings, There is much to like about this appliance and a couple of severe design failures. 1- The most obvious complaint is the lack of an on/off switch 2- The most important and safety related complaint is the poorly designed clip system for attaching the grill plates. This "innovative" design keeps letting the plates release and fall down "while hot". I have done my best to secure the clips, but they need a redesign with two latching clips instead of only one in the center at the top. This is really annoying, dangerous and BAD. Even if the latch clips were made of a thicker gauge of metal might help.
