Today whilst slow cooking with it, the lid shattered out of the blew ruining the meal. Extremely disappointing after only a few uses. I was otherwise happy with the product.The HandlesBrought this on the 30th August 2024 but was abit worried if the handles got hot but brought it mainly as it had a timer&warm function.I used it on high for 4hrs then warm for 1hr and the handles didn't heat up.Smart TempOnly had it for a short time. Have already returned 1. Have a replacement. BUT I don't understand why there is so much heat, that comes from the bottom. I had put the Slow Cooker on a 20mil Board. BUT the heat transferred right through the timber board onto the bench top. Really warm on Bench-top. This is a worry for when your not home!Legendary service
