All of the components are very sturdy and the immersion handle is well balanced. The best immersion blender I've ever owned and I've owned many over the years.

I'm a big fan of Breville appliances but I have one problem with this one. You need a lot of strength to squeeze the side buttons to release attachments - hence I took one star off. I'd normally do the usual due diligence and take the product for a test drive, however my local store didn't have it in stock and I had to order on-line.

This stick immersion blender is so good. Fits the hand really well, nice quiet powerful motor, the extra accessories it comes with are brilliant too. Only downside is that i wish it were stainless steel rather than white so it matvhes all my other breville appliances (this is breville appliance no. 8 for us :D)
