I loved this microwave and encouraged my dad to buy one too. But after only a few years of use, one of the door latches has snapped and now it won't work at all. Very disappointed. Currently seeking Breville's support to get it fixed and will update this post accordingly. It should be an easy, inexpensive fix but I suspect it won't be. Breville, can you help?

I had this microwave for a while now and its the best microwave I have ever used. It has so many uses, more than just defrosting or reheating my coffee. I cook vegetables for dinner (frozen and fresh), so much healthier than boiling, I melt chocolate and cook fudge, I cook bacon on the crisper, and make mug cakes so quickly. It cooks pies through on the crisper plate then browns a crusty top with the grill. Jacket potatoes take just a few minutes and it reminds you when to turn them for even cooking. Baked beans cook by weight without a lid to a perfect temperature without boiling over or bursting. There is even a button for cook a little more if things are not quite to your taste. I couldn't be without mine, it is so useful.

Easy to use and exciting to use, my husband said reheated pizza next day on the grill part and was crispy. I love it its clean and really interesting to use. Its great value. Dinnerplate fits nice and its fits bench without taking over
