The lid mechanism on this kettle literally fell apart just out of its guarantee. Solid everywhere else and I hoped it'd last for years as I paid a premium for the design but sadly not. Worst thing is they have customer service yiu can feedback to. Buyer beware

I bought this kettle about 6 months ago and absolutely love the look. A bit heavier than the average kettle, but that's not my main issue. I can never tell how much water is in the kettle without lifting it up to the light or window. My kitchen can be quite dark and in this day and age I thought that that light up feature or a more obvious indicator would have been the norm especially considering that it is an expensive item to have. I also have the large Sage Toaster which is perfect for my sourdough slices.

I love the look of my new brushed stainless steel Soft Top Luxe kettle. It's whisper quiet and has a little bell to tell me when it's boiled. It is a bit heavier than my previous kettle, but nothing I can't handle.
