Be warned, this kettle has a tremble bell which rings every time it switches off (as if you can't hear the click as it shuts off). It also rings every time you pick the kettle up or put it down on any surface, when you shut the under counter fridge door or when you chop ingredients firmly on your worktop.. It boils in reasonable time, is not over loud, you can see the water level and it looks fine but>>>>>

I purchased the soft top kettle in April 2020. It has now developed cracks at the base of the interior water windows. Is it still safe to use?

This is a superior kettle a with press button opening lid for ease of filling with water. Stylish looking with very visible water level. Heats quickly as well. In my opinion it is equal to the more expensive brands
