    Plastic measurement panel deteriorated
    I have had this kettle for a few years now and it's been fabulous. The only issue is the other day the plastic panel on one side just flaked off. This was a surprise and disappointing.

    Very noisy
    My husband bought this kettle in August as a replacement for our previous similar Breville that, after many years had finally stopped turning off at boiling point. We had been very happy with this old kettle. However this replacement is so noisy it is unbelievable, to the point that a friend on the phone asked what in hell the racket was!
