We have had our kettle for at least 2 years. It replaced another exact same kettle. The original one still works perfectly, but the little plastic bit on the lid kept popping off after a number of years. Doesn’t effect performance but just looked a bit blah so we replaced it with the same kettle. Still have the other one and take it camping with us. Boils relatively quick. There are so many kettles with extra features that this doesn’t have, but at the end of the day, I just want to boil water for hot drinks etc. this is basic and does the job. It is a little loud which is why I gave it 4 starts and not 5. If they could quieter it a little, it would be perfect.

I bought this kettle a few months ago to replace similar from Breville which we had for 20 years. It's fine except compared to the previous one it is very noisy. To the point where its not possible to be on a video call in the same area of the house if the kettle is on. We have to move it into the bathroom on such occasions. It really is that noisy which is disappointing because the old one had 'quiet boil' technology which was great.

I've had this kettle for lots of use. Reliable and fast. Like its ease of use.
