I bought this one with high hopes given we had the previous model many years. Very pleasing design and good juicer. The issue we have encountered is that the basket is not durable. The seams come loose and its prone to dinks in the filter. This causes the juicer to leak everywhere. We haggled with much difficulty to get a replacement at no cost, since this was only 4-5 months old. We got it but another 3 months later we have the same problem. I think that designers have to product test this more and come up with a better solution. The old model just didn't have this problem. We are not juicing pineapples here.

I got this as a gift and used it a handful of times. Unfortunately, this juicer is not great. I was shocked it was such a poor juicer considering the cost (although I didn't pay for it) and what it is touted as... a premium juicer. This juicer leaks, regardless of what I choose to juice, making a MASSIVE mess. I am so sad. This is such a pretty juicer. I have a navy blue one. I used to have the compact juicer, and it was fantastic. I moved and sold it, so I was happy to get a new Breville 'higher end' juicer... as I mentioned already, this has been an unfortunate experience. This juicer is not great. I would not recommend purchasing this or asking for it as a gift. It leaks, makes a big mess, and only looks lovely outside.
