    Grind your beans into the 54mm portafilter, designed to hold 19 grams of ground coffee. This dosage is key to brewing balanced espresso. The machine’s ThermoJet heating system means heat-up takes a speedy three seconds. The automatic steam wand will texture milk for smooth, creamy results, allowing you to show off your latte art skills. Switching from espresso extraction to steaming milk is instantaneous, so you don’t have to wait around.

    Compact design

    This machine’s economical footprint means it can be integrated into any interior design. You also have more storage options for when you’re not using the machine, but a coffee hiatus sounds somewhat mythical, so you may never get to packing it away.

    Microfoam texturing

    Microfoam is steamed milk that is velvety smooth in texture, ideal for creating latte art. What you want is foam with small, even bubbles (unless you are trying to make a cappuccino).     Its nice enough but not brilliant
    My second Sage coffee machine. It makes nice coffee but like the last one, the steam wand is misaligned. Instead of pointing into the drip tray it's pointing half in and half out, which means if you forget about it after steaming milk you get a big mess all over the work surface as the purging sends water down the sides of the drip tray. Annoying. The Portafilter that comes with the machine is totally awful too. One of the holes hardly seems to work properly, the stupid channels they have in the plastic insert seem designed to stop flow rather than help it.

    What a waste of time and coffee, every day
    We’ve had the Bambino Plus for over a month and the quality of coffee has gone so far downhill to the point that it is a guaranteed frustrating way to start every day. This machine is so high maintenance and after many attempts for each shot, we eventually get a very lackluster shot of espresso at best. We have done a factory reset, changed grind and tamping pressure, and explored every other variable in the manual, but we still cannot draw a proper shot. To say this machine is more trouble than it’s worth is a gross understatement.
