Spent over an hour troubleshooting with a very patient Demi stepping through various diagnostics. Unfortunately for us it meant buying a new Barista Pro at a significantly discounted price. Demi was great-couldn’t have asked for more.

I’ve been using the Sage Barista Pro for a few months with light daily use (around 2 coffees per day). When it works, it produces very good espresso with consistent temperature and solid steam performance. The heat-up time is quick, and the overall workflow is convenient for home use. However, I’ve experienced two recurring issues: The machine occasionally stops the shot within the first 1–2 seconds after pressing the double shot button. It usually works normally on the next attempt, but the inconsistency is noticeable and has become more frequent over time. The steam control dial becomes stiff after initial use, making it harder to operate smoothly during subsequent use. These issues affect the overall reliability of the machine, which is disappointing given the otherwise strong performance. Overall, it’s capable of great coffee, but consistency and build quality could be improved.
