A great Espresso Machine. It took slightly longer to 'fine-tune' the settings for grind size and amount compaired to the Barista Express which has a pressure gauge to show the the extraction is within range, compaired to timings on the screen. Having said that, this machine makes greats espresso coffee, so if your looking to purchase your first Espress bean to cup machine, I highly recommend this 'Barista Express Pro' or the 'Barista express' machine.

I am a trained barista and I’ve had this machine for 4 years, about two years ago it started having issues where if I were to use any operations it would start and time out and beep after 5 seconds and would not work. It managed to sort itself out and worked fine for a while. Now it will not work. Same issue happens and beeps 4 times and stops the function. Very disappointed as I love it when it works. I have heard of many issues the exact same for this model and they’re renowned to start breaking after 4 years. Pretty disappointing, will not be buying this brand again.

It's a brilliant, compact and stylish build. The water tank is clever and enhances the compactness of its design, meaning that you can put it close to the wall without the need to move the machine just to remove the tank for cleaning or refill it. Only 4 stars because the portafilter is an extremely tight fit whether loaded or empty, the portafilter spout is a loose fit (or crooked when firmly screwed in), the grinder dispensing gradually increases volume for the same timing and beans.
