I am writing to express my concerns regarding the Breville Air Fryer Oven that I purchased just over two years ago. While I have been pleased with its cooking performance, I have encountered a significant issue with the cleaning process. The “non-stick surface” inside the oven accumulates splatter and grease very quickly, and I have found it nearly impossible to clean according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The recommended method of wiping the surface with a damp sponge is ineffective unless the oven is used solely for toasting. When cooking anything that involves oils or grease, these drips bake onto the surface, making them impossible to remove without resorting to abrasive methods or standard oven cleaning agents. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use a commercial oven cleaner, it removed the painted surface inside the oven rather than the baked-on splatter. This has not only damaged the appliance but also made it even more difficult to clean. I find it surprising and disappointing that an oven designed and advertised for roasting and similar cooking tasks cannot withstand standard cleaning agents. I would appreciate your assistance in addressing this issue, as it has significantly affected my experience with the product.

Having previously owned a Breville Smart Oven Pro I had no hesitation in buying this more compact version when I moved into an apartment where kitchen bench top space is more limited. The same if not better functionality with 10 presets including air frying. The Matt black finish coordinates well with my other kitchen appliances. An easy 5 stars.

We've been looking at several of the "normal" type air fryers, but because we have a specific space where we wanted to fit it, we decided on this Air Fryer Oven, and we are so happy with it! Bought it yesterday and already prepared meals in it twice, both times delicious and SO FAST! Made lamb chops, onions, zucchini, carrots + cauliflower... for 2 adults, took 15 min on Airfry setting and it came out absolutely delicious! We were surprised at how delicious and different the veggies tastes compared to normal cooking, the flavour is amazing! We are hooked! ;-)
