    Excellent product – just one thing would give 5 stars
    This is a fantastic product. Gets lots of use. One of the best features is the ability to change the time and temperature while cooking (as you can on Breville microwaves and ovens). Breville is only one of two manufacturers that I've found that do that. One thing for the wish list though: would much prefer a stainless steel basket that could go in the dishwasher. Yes, it would probably cost more, but that would add to the convenience and earn 5 stars. It would also get rid of concerns about what chemicals are in the non-stick coating.

    Works well however the pan base won't stay connected to the basket
    We bought this product at christmas time after a review by choice magazine has made this mode one of the recommended products. I am happy with the electrical operation of this fryer and how it cooks the food, however I am disappointed that the basket keeps separating from the pan base without selecting the disconnect push-button. This has meant the pan base regularly falls off onto the floor and it has now damaged the pan base so much so that I've had to buy a replacement pan base at significant cost.
