overall this is a fantastic blender - fast, smooth, easy to use. The seal used at the bottom of the blender needs to be perfectly aligned to ensure there is no leakage, so sometimes leaks can occur. Several times I have had milk spill all over the bench! Now when I assemble the blender I fill it with a small amount of water first to make sure it isn't leaking.

I don't recommend this blender - blades are weak and small and the engine is not strong. Blender emits a burning plastic smell each time I use it.
